Introduction
Headformers is a team of sports psychologists and mental coaches who provide mental preparation services to athletes. Their main goal is to improve the performance of athletes, teams, clubs and associations.

Brief
Our brief was to create everything a newly-established company needs – name, logo, full branding, brand strategy, website, presentation materials and much more.
In the second step, our job was to implement the created strategy by using an optimal marketing mix. (Marketing communication case study coming soon.)
That's why, from the beginning, we wanted to create a brand that would shed some light on the topic of mental preparation, a topic that hasn't had much of a spotlight on it yet. Through intensive briefing and getting to know each member of the company, we set out to create a brand that would best help its clients and the company both as a team (at the brand level) and individually (at the team member level).
Our approach
Problems often arise from a single negative thought. The thought can become so ingrained in our minds that we throw ourselves off balance and don't perform at our best – at work, in relationships, or even during a match. Mental preparation is simply essential. In everything we do.

Solution
How to encode mental preparation awareness directly into branding? The answer is a simple single word – balance. An element which is often underestimated, not just in the athletic world, but in all our lives. We put balance at the forefront of the overall identity.
Playing with balance hides in many brand attributes and yet it is not hard to find. Look for it in the tagline, in the typography work, in the selected colour scheme, the visual system, the tone...




Brand Voice as part of DNA
Brand voice is a balance between sophisticated professional language and understandable friendly communication. We communicate complex messages simply, sometimes even figuratively. All that juggling with sports terminology.
Conclusion
From three personalities, professionals in sports psychology and coaching, we created the Headformers brand. Through branding and subsequent communications, we passed the baton to the company of the idea that mental preparation is an essential part of athletic performance. We appreciate that we were able to touch many sports in Slovakia and the Czech Republic by creating this brand and move the benchmark in this segment higher.
